It has recently been reported that Israeli commandos boarded a ship in international waters, laden with humanitarian aid for Gaza, and murdered up to 15 people. Most of them Turkish nationals.
European sources appear to be much more willing to report this incident than their American counterparts. Some have interpreted the lackluster response of the American media as an indication that the Israelis are guilty of all they are accused of. It’s hard to blame them since the dishonesty of the American MSM is legendary. One can almost arrive at the truth simply by assuming the opposite of whatever garbage the MSM tries to shove down our throats.
I’d like to point out that, when it comes to Israel, the propaganda works both ways. Believe it or not, there is plenty of anti-Israeli propaganda out there just as there is pro-Israeli propaganda. For example, most terrorist attacks, by Arabs against Jews, go unreported in the international media. So, when we learn of an incident such as the one in question, we should refrain from quick judgment. I, for one, was not there. I did not actually see what happened. Chances are, neither were you. So let us not be hasty in condemning the Israelis. As the facts become more clear, and both sides of the story are adequately heard, only then should objective people form their opinions on the matter.
